Walden Whytsell aka Don White signed up with CATTLE RECORDS in 1984. He was a star of the well-known WLS National Barn Dance of Chicago, Illinois. In the 1940s and 1950s numerous air checks were made of the Don White appearances. A collection from these air checks was assembled for an LP release. Don was also a member of the original WBT Briarhoppers of Charlotte, North Carolina. His nice letter shows him (light hair and dark glasses). We received a lot of nice letters like this through the years from satisfied artists. We last heard from Don in 2002 when he had moved to a place called "Sunrise - assisted living". Our reply remained unreplied.
