Pete Pyle was a Hillbilly Music performer from Burnsville,
Mississippi. He was an excellent artist who performed in
several states like Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Michigan. His
career as a solo singer spans only about one decade (ca. 1940 to ca.
1950). Although he was lucky being hired to THE GRAND OLE OPRY he
wasn't too lucky with a long lasting career. He wrote many songs which
were recorded by artists like Bill Monroe, Jimmy Dickens, George Jones
and others, but he also sold a lot of songs to others for a handful of
Dollars, so he never received the recognition he deserved.
