Tex Banes was one of the very few Australian Country & Western artists who signed up with me. The scans above show the last letter
I received from Tex in January 2001 when he was at age 86 and a transcription label along with a label of one side of his CATTLE LP 127.
He passed away March 19, 2005 and is sadly missed. I had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone several times. I think he was a very
sensitive and extremely nice person.
